PETER COYNE, THE YOUNGEST OF THE NINE, WAS BORN JUNE 25, 1909. UPON THE DEATH OF HER HUSBAND, PATRICK, HIS WIFE MARY BROUGHT THE TWO YOUNGEST, CATHERINE AND PETER, WHEN SHE EMIGRATED TO THE U.S.A. POSSIBLY, SHE FIRST STOPPED IN YOUNGSTOWN, OH WHERE SOME OF HER CHILDREN WERE SETTLED. PETER, EVIDENTLY, REMAINED THERE FOR A FEW YEARS BEFORE JOINING UP WITH THE REST OF THE COYNE CLAN IN CHICAGO. PETER HAS THE UNIQUE DISTINCTION OF RECEIVING THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF EDUCATION OF THE NINE COYNES, GRADUATING FROM ENGLEWOOD HIGH SCHOOL ON CHICAGO'S SOUTHSIDE. ON JUNE 30, 1934 HE MARRIED AGNES (DELLA) LYONS WHO WAS FROM COUNTY MAYO, IRELAND. THEY HAD FIVE CHILDREN: MARY JOSEPHINE, PETER, JOHN, THOMAS AND KATHLEEN. HE WORKED AS A STATIONARY ENGINEER. BEING THE YOUNGEST, HE WAS THE FIRST TO DIE, IN 1968 AT THE AGE OF 59.
